CD8A and neoplasm: Similarly, CD8+ T cells accumulated within progressively growing tumors transplanted in the a.c. of mice (Ksander et al., 1991; Vicetti Miguel et al., 2010), and T cells isolated from spleens of mice primed to tumor Ags protected naïve mice from an ocular tumor challenge when transferred intravenously (Niederkorn and Streilein, 1984).
