During the 5 and 10 weeks of cirrhosis progress, some changes occurred at 5 weeks, that is, a small increase in cyclin D1, p53, serum HGF, and its receptor c-Met; at 10 weeks of progress, a larger diminution of PCNA, cyclin B1, an increase of CDK4, p27, and serum HGF occurred with no change in the other proteins.
