To further examine whether high expression of GOLPH3 protein is linked to the clinical progression of ESCC, the following samples were subjected to IHC staining with a human GOLPH3 antibody: 155 paraffin-embedded, archived ESCC tissue samples, including 9 cases of stage I, 64 cases of stage IIA, 14 cases of stage IIB, 54 cases of stage III and 14 cases of stage IV tumors, and 10 normal esophageal tissue samples. Here, GOLPH3 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
