TP53 and rectal cancer: Wild-type form of p53 status was associated with improved response in rectal cancer patients who received neoadjuvant CRT (good response: RR = 1.20, 95% CI = 1.01–1.43, p = 0.043, complete response: RR = 1.92, 95% CI = 1.26–2.91, p = 0.002), but not with poor response (RR = 0.91, 95% CI = 0.68–1.12, p = 0.284).
