For determining of IRGM polymorphisms in PTB patients and comparison of these polymorphisms with healthy individual, a total of 150 pulmonary tuberculosis patients with an average age of 47.5 years (59 male, 91 female; minimum 12 years, maximum 78 years) and 150 healthy subjects with a mean age of 44.13 years (53 male, 97 female; minimum 20, maximum 82) were enrolled in the study. This evidence concerns the gene IRGM and pulmonary tuberculosis.
