The results presented in our study strongly suggest that lipid related molecules specially LPA and its receptor LPA3, and endocannabinoids and its receptors CB1 and CB2 (Figure 9), could be used as markers for the receptivity of the uterus during early pregnancy and seem to be promising therapeutic targets for overcoming female infertility caused by the lack of uterine receptivity. The gene discussed is LPAR3; the disease is female infertility.
