To show an advantage of the spatial integration of multiple maps into the space, the brain areas defined by the expression of Htt(+)/Bdnf(−), which we expected to be highly vulnerable in Huntington’s disease as mentioned in the previous section, were overlaid onto the MRI atlases in WHS and highlighted with colors representing the anatomical regions based on MRI data [26]. The gene discussed is HTT; the disease is juvenile Huntington disease.
