IL6R and Behcet disease: Therefore, the current study aimed to determine if there is an ongoing chronic pro-inflammatory process in euthymic bipolar patients with subsyndromal symptoms, characterised by higher concentrations of soluble tumor necrosis factor receptor-1 (sTNF-R1), soluble interleukin-6 receptor (sIL-6R) and soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL-2R), all of which are thought to represent reliable markers of inflammatory activity and all of which have been widely investigated in BD.
