Cases with CAD (group 1 + 2) have significant higher values of BMI, systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), fasting plasma glucose (FPG), serum creatinine, total cholesterol, triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-c), serum cortisol, high sensitive C-reactive protein (hsCRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), fibrinogen, and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), but they have lower values of free testosterone and HDL-c in comparison to control group as shown in Table 1. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and coronary artery disorder.
