We found that LAPTM4B (*1/2+ *2/2) genotypes are significantly associated with histopathologic grade (p = 0.0027) and lymph node metastasis (p = 0.0322) in breast cancer patients, but not with age, pathological type, tumor size, ER status, PR status, or C-erbB2 status. This evidence concerns the gene LAPTM4B and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
