G6PD and sexually transmitted disease: Training of health care staff of peripheral health facilities regarding 100% registration of pregnant tribal women and regular Anti Natal Check up, giving Prophylactic/Therapeutic treatment of Anemia during pregnancy; immunization against tetanus, detection of dangerous signs and timely referral to First Referral Units or Tertiary care health facilities; detection of STD’s and identification of Genetic disorders i.e. sickle cell and Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Enzyme Deficiency (G-6-PD) and to provide postnatal health services to all tribal mothers.
