A number of investigators, including our group, reported that reduced E-cadherin expression was associated with invasion (Figure 2(b)) [34, 35, 41–43], and several classic prognostic features [42], namely, proliferation [59] and lymph node metastases, suggesting this molecule as a potential prognostic marker for canine mammary cancer [35, 43].
