RhoG is thought to mediate integrin signaling and depletion of RhoG has been shown to slow down cell spreading[18,28], which we have confirmed in glioblastoma cells (data not shown), suggesting that a decrease in cell adhesion in the RhoG-depleted glioblastoma cells may be responsible for this increase in membrane ruffling. The gene discussed is RHOG; the disease is glioblastoma.
