In the MIA PaCa-2 cell line, established from a human pancreatic adenocarcinoma, a clear 24-h periodicity was observed for the time qualified variations of expression of PPARG, and a borderline significant rhythmicity with a 24 h period was observed for the DNMT1 and DNMT3B expression patterns, and the time qualified profiles of PPARG and DNMT1 as well as those of PPARG and DNMT3B and the time qualified profiles of DNMT1 and DNMT3B were different (neither identical nor opposing). Here, PPARG is linked to pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
