Our data on increase in AnxA2 expression upon treatment with the Her-2 antibody as well as prolonged Herceptin therapy (Figure 3C), and other reports suggesting involvement of AnxA2 in cancer recurrence during the neoadjuvant therapy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy [51]–[55] suggested the role of AnxA2 in Herceptin resistance.
