Several interesting genes involved in inflammation (i.e. IL8, IL17, IL1RAP, CX3CR1, and several TLRs) and oxidative stress (i.e. DUSP1, GPX3, DHRS9) were indeed modulated in CRS patients (table 3, and table S2 for the entire panel of genes). This evidence concerns the gene CX3CR1 and congenital rubella syndrome.
