Furthermore, we examined the effects of a novel curcumin-derived synthetic analogue (CDF) that showed anti-tumor activity with a greater systemic and target tissue bioavailability, on cell survival, migration, invasion, angiogenesis, formation of prostaspheres, and the expression of HIF-1α, VEGF, IL-6, CSC marker genes, and miRNAs in PCa cells under hypoxic conditions. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and neoplasm.
