Recently, lost or reduced expression of AHRR has been observed in many types of cancerous human tissue [16], including hepatocellular carcinoma, colon carcinoma, prostate cancer, breast cancer and others [9], [17], [18], demonstrating that AHRR is a putative new tumor suppressor gene in multiple types of human cancers [9]. The gene discussed is AHRR; the disease is neoplasm.
