On assessment of cTnI on the second day of life, it was significantly elevated in IDM (Table 2 & Figure 1), among them, infants with respiratory distress have a higher cTnI levels than those without (median values of 1.7ng/ml Vs 1.0 ng/ml respectively) (Table 3 & Figure 2). The gene discussed is TNNI3; the disease is Respiratory distress.
