In this study, the effects of MEGT on an oral cancer cell model were assayed to explore the genotoxic effect, by cell cycle distribution and annexin V detection to explore its apoptotic effect, by γ-H2AX detection to explore its DNA damage effect, by determination of ROS and GSH levels to explore its oxidative stress modifying effect, and by DiOC2(3) staining to explore the MMP depolarization. This evidence concerns the gene H2AX and lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
