One unit increments of natural log of PTH levels were significantly associated with risk of hypertension in the crude model (OR = 1.78, 95% confidence interval 1.38–2.28, P<0.0001) and model adjusted for age and sex (OR = 1.41, 95% confidence interval 1.08–1.83, P = 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene PTH and hypertensive disorder.
