CXCR2 and Disseminated intravascular coagulation: Application of cell-penetrating lipopeptides, which block CXCR1- and CXCR2-signaling, reversed the lethal sequelae of sepsis, including multi-organ failure and disseminated intravascular coagulation in mice, indicating that CXCR2 is very important in sepsis (Kaneider et al., 2005).
