FCGR2B and gastric cancer: A few gastric cancers had extremely high levels of the Fc receptor, FCGR2B, which could affect drug internalization and pharmacodynamics of therapeutic antibodies such as cetuximab in vivo. Four gastric cancers strongly expressed MET, and an additional eight cases strongly overexpressed expressed ERBB2 (Her2), raising the possibility that this assay could predict response to tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy.
