NANP and malaria: Anti-AMA1 (Pf) (p = 0.004), anti-MSP2 (Pf) (p = 0.027), anti-NANP (Pf) (p = 0.002) and anti-MSP1 (Pv) (p = 0.003) levels were significantly higher in people who have had one or more clinical malaria episodes within the past 10 years, when compared to those who gave no evidence of clinical malaria during past 10 years (Table 3).
