VEGFA was the most sensitive (81.8%) factor and FGF2 the most specific (76.6%) one, for distinguishing bladder cancer patients from the control samples, with an AUC of 0.751 (95% CI, 0.674–0.817) and 0.742 (95% CI, 0.664–0.810), respectively (Fig. 9). The gene discussed is FGF2; the disease is urinary bladder carcinoma.
