In this report, study participants with CVD (n = 604), cancer (n = 46), dyslipidemia (n = 519), or with any missing data (n = 1088) regarding antihypertensive treatment status, age, sex, height, weight, WC, smoking status, drinking status, standard of living, education and physical activity levels, reported diabetes status, MTHFR C677T polymorphism, heart rate, FPG, and family history of hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes and stroke were excluded. Here, MTHFR is linked to hypertensive disorder.
