Four genes, including trabecular meshwork inducible glucocorticoid response (MYOC), human dioxin-inducible cytochrome P450 (CYP1B1), optineurin (OPTN), and WD repeat domain 36 (WDR36), have been identified as glaucoma-associated genes [10]. The gene discussed is CYP1B1; the disease is glaucoma.
