At the end of experiments (8 weeks), high numbers of Ki-67+ tumor cells were seen in PC-3M-luc (80–90%) and PC-3M-luc-scr (70–80%) xenografts; modest Ki-67+ tumor cells in PC-3M-luc-CD44-KD (60–80%) and PC-3M-luc-CD147-KD (60–70%) xenografts with VC-treatment suggesting that the KD has limited effects on the proliferation of the CaP cells.
