Podocytes are injured in many forms of human glomerular disease, including minimal change disease, FSGS, membranous glomerulopathy, diabetes mellitus, IgA nephropathy, and lupus nephritis [11].The present study demonstrated that RANK and RANKL were upregulated in human glomerular disease (FSGS, IgA nephropathy and MN) compared with the control. The gene discussed is TNFRSF11A; the disease is glomerular disorder.
