AGT and cardiac hypertrophy: Treatment with either erythrodiol or uvaol was able to reduce cardiac hypertrophy observed in angiotensin II-induced animals (Figures 7B, 7E and 7F, respectively) by decreasing both interstitial (Figures 8A, 8D and 8E, respectively) and perivascular fibrosis (Figure 8B, 8I and 8J, respectively).
