In addition to discoveries of these physiological roles, SATB1 has recently attracted considerable attention due to its high expression in tumor tissues of a variety of malignancies, such as breast cancer [9], lymphoma [10], gastric cancer [11], colorectal cancer and laryngeal cancer [12,13], which suggest a crucial role in promoting tumor growth, invasion and metastasis, and may also have a potential value of being a candidate for cancer therapy [14].
