Quantitative analysis revealed about 1% and 2% double-labeling of BrdU and GFAP in respective intact and infarcted side of NT-020-treated stroke brains, which were significantly lower than those seen in the intact (18%) and infarcted side (35%) of vehicle-treated stroke brains (** p < 0.0001) (Figure 6B).
