NCAM1 and schizophrenia: The compiled evidence from genetic association studies and mutant mouse analysis suggests that the NCAM associated-cell recognition and signaling complex (including FGF receptors: Terwisscha van Scheltinga et al., 2010; and NMDA receptors: Kochlamazashvili et al., 2010) are involved in the development of schizophrenia-related behavioral features.
