SATB2 and neoplasm: As shown by immunohistochemical analysis, 44.2% paraffin-embedded laryngeal cancer tissues showed negative nuclear staining of SATB2, 43.0% laryngeal cancer tissues showed moderate SATB2 staining and 12.8% showed strong staining in tumor cells and some infiltrated lymphocytes, while the non-cancerous tissues presented mainly strong expression of SATB2, indicating that SATB2 might play an important role in the development and progression of LSCC.
