SATB2 and neoplasm: As shown by immunohistochemical analysis, 38 of 86 (44.2%) paraffin-embedded laryngeal cancer tissues showed negative nuclear or cytoplasm staining of SATB2 protein, while 37 of 86 (43.0%) laryngeal cancer tissues showed mainly moderate SATB2 staining (in the nuclear and cytoplasm of cancer cell) and 11 of 86 (12.8%) showed strong staining in tumor cells and some infiltrated lymphocytes (Figure 2).
