The interaction of multiple myeloma cells with BMSCs and bone marrow accessory cells upregulated transcripts for cytokines such as IL-6 [3], [4], the anti-apoptotic protein MCL1 [5]; HGF and insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) [6]; and heat shock proteins (HSPs), which regulate the conformation and function of proliferative and anti-apoptotic proteins [7]. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and AL amyloidosis.
