Since it has recently been shown that cardiac inflammation are one of the major pathological factors involving in the pressure overload-induced murine heart failure [25], [26], [27] and activation of A2A-R are responsible for its anti-inflammatory effects [28], [29], we screened the experimental mice myocardium by gene microarray and validated the gene changes found in microarray by Q-PCR. The gene discussed is ADORA2A; the disease is heart failure.
