HTR5A and drug-induced dyskinesia: Tanaka et al. (1999) and Lindgren et al. (2010) showed that lesioning of the 5HT projection to the striatum decreases DA substantially in the striatum during an LD dose and Carta et al. (2007) and Lindgren et al. (2010) showed that 5HT autoreceptor agonists decrease the dyskinesias caused by high pulses of DA in the striatum.
