Using continuous tissue sectioning, we found that 82.98% (39/47) of KLF8 positive HCC samples showed cytoplasmic and nuclear β-catenin accumulation, compared to only 38.89% (7/18) KLF8 negative HCC samples showed cytoplasmic and nuclear β-catenin accumulation (p<0.05, Fig. 1A, B). The gene discussed is KLF8; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
