A general view of the results in Table 2, shows that β-NGF, CXCL1, CXCL9, C-peptide, GIP and adiponectin resulted up-expressed in all the patient groups except in those with T2D suggesting that they can be associated to the chronic CHC infection leading to fibrotic, cirrhotic and cancer progression, also in presence of type 2 diabetes (CHD and LCD). Here, GIP is linked to coronary artery disorder.
