This binding may be linked to Parkinson’s disease as phosphorylation of Ser910 and Ser935 and 14-3-3 binding is inhibited by five of the six validated LRRK2 pathogenic mutations (R1441C, R1441G, R1441H, Y1699C and I2020T) [8], [9]. Here, LRRK2 is linked to Parkinson disease.
