An analysis by flow cytometry revealed that the frequencies of the CD4+BAFF+ (from 0.20% to 2.16%), CD4+BAFFR+ (from 0.26% to 0.37%) and CD4+TACI+ (from 1.36% to 5.10%) T cells were slightly increased in the PBMCs of TB patients (n = 2) compared with HD participants (n = 2) (Figure 3.C). This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF13B and tuberculosis.
