CSNK1E and pancreatic adenocarcinoma: CKIε is a protein product of the CSNK1E gene and has been shown to be important in regulating cell division and tumour growth in human pancreatic adenocarcinoma and salivary gland cancer by phosphorylating key proteins in the Wnt signalling pathway (Brockschmidt et al, 2008; Frierson et al, 2002; Peters et al, 1999; Polakis, 2007; Price, 2006).
