The results were comparable with conventional immunohistochemistry (Figure 3) resulting in tumor-to-normal ratios of 3.93 ± 0.14, 2.74 ± 0.46, 1.54 ± 0.11, and 1.66 ± 0.066 for CD44v6, MUC1, Mammaglobin, and CAXII, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene MUC1 and neoplasm.
