While the regulation of translation appears to contribute to the oncogenic transformation of v-Abl-transduced pre-B cells and some key proteins have been identified as post-transcriptionally regulated (namely c-Myc, MDM2, CEBPα, hnRNP E2/Pcbp2 and Cyclin D3) [25], [26], [27], [28], an unbiased, genome-wide survey of translational regulation in this cancer model has not been performed.
