This transformed state is a model for Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), of which 95% and 30% of cases, respectively, harbor the BCR-ABL1 translocation (referred to as Ph+) that leads to a constitutively active Abl kinase [4], [5], [6]. This evidence concerns the gene ABL1 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
