The anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-10 (184.41 ± 90.69 fold, P = 0.0357) and TGF-β (2.33 ± 0.37 fold, P = 0.0087) are both significantly increased 10 days after CVB3 infection, whereas no raised mRNA expression was determined 28 days after infection (Figure 1(b)—white bars).
