Previous studies have demonstrated that overexpression of genes belonging to the B-cell receptor (BCR) pathway, and regulators, such as CD79B, BTK, TNFRSF7 (CD27), IKB2 and SYK, are correlated with a more aggressive behavior in CLL [2], [3], [4], [5]. Here, CD27 is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
