LEP and myocardial infarction: There was no difference in timing of peak serum levels between patients who had evidence of coronary reperfusion compared to those who did not achieve coronary reperfusion (p = 0.8), also there was no significant difference in mean serum leptin level in patients with anterior MI vs. inferior MI (mean ± SD = 11.71 ± 7, 9 vs.11.86 ± 6.6 ng/ml, p = 0.9) respectively.
