Table 3 showed that in the HPV positive subgroup, subjects with the PARP-1 Ala762Ala(GCG/GCG) genotype in patients with cervical carcinoma are significantly more than those in controls (OR: 5.56, 95% CI: 2.08–14.3; P<0.01); P<0.01]. What is more, patients with cervical carcinoma had a higher proportion of subjects with the PARP-1 Ala762Ala(GCG/GCG) or Val762Ala(GTG/GCG) genotype compared to controls in terms of the number of sex partners (Table 6). Here, PARP1 is linked to cervical carcinoma.
