Conversely, knockdown of PITX2 remarkably reduced the expressions of Cyclin-D1 and C-myc at least 20% compared to their scrambled controls in OVCA 433 and OV2008 cells (Figure 5C).These findings indicate that PITX2 could upregulate Cyclin-D1 and C-myc in promoting cell growth of ovarian cancer cells.
