Recent evidence has suggested that p120ctn, by binding to Kaiso, acts to relieve Kaiso-mediated transcriptional repression of certain genes [28], and in particular, our previous study has shown that restitution of p120ctn isoform 3A induced redistribution of Kaiso from the nucleus to cytoplasm of lung cancer cells [29]. The gene discussed is CTNND1; the disease is lung cancer.
